2025 Chevrolet Trax

The 2025 Chevrolet Trax is available in five trims: the LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS, and ACTIV. Each trim level offers progressively enhanced exterior features, starting with 17-inch steel wheels on the LS. The LT upgrades to 17-inch aluminum wheels, while the 1RS features 18-inch machined aluminum wheels. The 2RS comes with 19-inch machine-faced aluminum wheels and a sport-tuned suspension. The ACTIV trim focuses on capability with 18-inch all-terrain tires. LED headlamps and daytime running lights come standard across all models. The RS trims incorporate black bowtie emblems and sport mesh grille designs, while the ACTIV features a titanium chrome-plated grille and specialized front and rear fascias with skid plate elements.

All 2025 Trax models are powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 137 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 162 pound-feet of torque at 2,500 rpm. This engine pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel-drive configuration. The powertrain delivers strong low-end torque for responsive city driving while maintaining efficiency. The transmission provides smooth gear changes that complement the engine's power delivery.

The Trax accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 8.6 seconds across all trim levels. The 2RS enhances handling with its sport-tuned suspension system, while the ACTIV trim's all-terrain tires provide additional capability on rough surfaces. All other trims come equipped with all-season tires. Every model features electric power steering that adjusts assistance based on vehicle speed, along with four-wheel disc brakes for reliable stopping power.

The cabin features an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and 11-inch diagonal infotainment touchscreen as standard equipment. The LS and LT trims come with cloth seating surfaces, while the 2RS and ACTIV upgrade to leatherette upholstery with heated front seats. The RS model features a flat-bottom steering wheel for a sportier feel. Remote start functionality comes standard on LT, 2RS, and ACTIV trims, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration are included across all models. The cargo area provides 25.6 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats, expanding to 54.1 cubic feet with the seats folded. Total passenger volume measures 98.2 cubic feet.

The Chevy Safety Assist package comes standard on all trims, incorporating forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, following distance indicator, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams. Additional standard safety features include a rear vision camera, Teen Driver technology, StabiliTrak electronic stability control, traction control, six airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system with tire fill alert. Optional safety enhancements include rear park assist, lane change alert, side blind zone alert, and rear cross-traffic alert on select trims.
