Safety is very important when you're driving, and Chevy has your back. Chevy Safety Assist is a bundle of safety features you get with all models that actively protect you and your passengers. As your Chevy dealer, we want to tell you more about how these Chevy safety features enhance your driving experience. more Forward Collision Assist This feature utilizes cameras and radar to track any vehicle in front of you. If it detects something, the system determines the distance between the other vehicle's rear bumper and the front of your Chevy and the possibility of a collision based on relative speeds. It provides both visual and audio alerts to warn you of the danger. If you don't take corrective action in time, emergency braking will be activated. The system will slow your vehicle or bring it to an instant stop to prevent an accident. Following Distance Indicator This helpful feature measures the gap between your Chevy and any vehicle ahead of you. It calculates the distance in seconds based on both vehicle's speeds and displays the figure on your windshield.
