A Chevrolet key

Every day, we see drivers getting excited about the innovative tech features offered in today’s newer models. As a Chevy dealer, we love seeing features like Super Cruise and Google Built-In making driving more enjoyable for everyone. Read on to learn more about these new technologies.

1. Super Cruise

Chevrolet’s Super Cruise allows drivers to take their hands off the wheel. This technology utilizes sensors, GPS, and real-time cameras in addition to a LiDAR map to operate your vehicle safely. The feature currently works on more than 400,000 roadways across the United States and Canada. Super Cruise is available on vehicles like the 2023 Silverado, 2023 Tahoe, and 2023 Suburban.

One of the highlights of Super Cruise is the automatic lane change feature. When activated, this technology will detect a slower vehicle ahead of you and then properly handle passing them. Your vehicle will use turn signals and proper driving techniques as it returns to the original lane. This hands-free feature makes driving your Chevy a delightful experience on long road trips.

2. Google Built-In

If you use Google Assistant at home, you’re going to love having Google Built-In in your Chevy. You can log in to your Google account on your vehicle’s touchscreen. You’ll then be able to access apps like Google Assistant, Google Play, and Google Maps. The software will sync with your Google account and create a personalized experience.

3. Alexa Built-In

Chevrolet is now bringing Alexa on board, as well. You’ll be able to use voice commands just like you do at home. In fact, once you log in to your Amazon account, you’ll be able to connect with your smart home devices. This makes it easy to talk to Alexa and manage your day, or relax and stream your favorite music.

4. WiFi

Many of the 2023 models have available WiFi hotspot technology. Utilizing this feature will require an active OnStar service and a paid data plan through AT&T. Having a WiFi hotspot in your car makes it easy for your passengers to stream movies on long road trips.

5. Connected Navigation

Chevrolet Maps provides an in-vehicle navigation app with all the information you need most. It’s easy to search for destinations using voice commands, or you can navigate using your vehicle’s touchscreen.

6. Chevy Safety Assist

Chevrolet offers many advanced safety assist features, with six of them included in their Chevy Safety Assist package. You’ll find this suite as standard in many of the 2023 models. It includes features like a forward collision warning that will alert the driver of impending collisions. Other features include front pedestrian braking technology, automatic high beams, and automatic emergency braking.
